Fall Fun Festival

Our church holds a Fall Fun Festival every year several days before Halloween and it keeps getting bigger and bigger!  Every year has become more fun for us as well because the kids are getting older and can really enjoy all of the activities!  This year they visited all of the animals in the petting zoo, bounced and bounced and bounced in many bounce houses, rode ponies and ate LOTS of candy!

The Lastovica's and an adorable little ladybug joined us!

Cooper LOVES Mickey Mouse, so I thought it was only fitting to get him a Mickey Mouse costume for Halloween.  Well, this picture represents the entire 5 minutes that he kept it on {with or without the Mickey head!}  It wasn't until right before we left for the festival that I remembered that I had bought a Police Uniform on clearance last year after Halloween.  It was a little big, but we rolled up the sleeves and he made the cutest little cop you have ever seen!

Pumpking Carving!

We finally found time the weekend before Halloween to carve our pumpkins!  The kids were really excited at first and then I think Daddy was left with much of the work shortly after we started.  But they sure loved the final product!  Caroline picked a Kitty Cat and Cooper had a smiley face.
 Cooper was a SUPER helper!

Caroline had other plans!

PARTY!!!

I got really tired of keeping our house clean for showings and not being able to have anyone over for what seems like forever!!  So to remedy that, I thought what better than to host a Halloween party for the Mom's club?!!  Well, we had quite a few little kids dressed up and enjoyed the morning with snacks, crafts, toys and not to mention CANDY!  We had this on the Friday before Halloween so all of the kids were really excited to finally be able to wear their costumes!  (That is for everyone except Cooper...)

 HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
These are my favorite type of pictures!  Josh would have a HEART ATTACK if he actually saw the house "during" playtimes!  :)  And this definitely wasn't everyone...

Can you spell...

T.R.O.U.B.L.E?!
These sweet friends spent a beautiful October morning at the arboretum.  Everyone had a blast!

Even though the face painting line was over an hour long, we waited!  And this was the only picture I got... what was I thinking?!  We had an adorable panda bear, kitty cat and butterfly!  Of course Cooper wanted to touch them all!

Pumpkin Patches

Although we visited quite a few pumpkin patches this October, I did not get a picture of either kid sitting still and looking directly at the camera.  Oh well... such is life!  All of the pumpkin patches are so much fun around here and have a lot of games and entertainment for the kiddos!  We visited one with the Mom's Club and the kids enjoyed games, story time and a treasure hunt as well as getting to pick out pumpkins.

My little pumpkin!

Super Daddy!

So because of Hurricane Sandy, we should be in New York cheering Josh on in the NYC Marathon, but instead we are at home fixing things up before we close on November 30th.  It may take longer with little ones in tow, but we've managed to make it somewhat fun!

And at least Josh is in REALLY REALLY good shape for all of these home improvements!!  :)
